Each point is one verified sale on its sale date. Hollow points are complete sets, plotted at price per club. The line is a rolling median of the five most recent sales, so a single unusual price does not bend the trend.

What is a Tom Stewart club worth?

The honest answer is: less than hope, more than nothing — and it depends which club. Common irons in honest, playable condition change hands for tens rather than hundreds. Scarce types in fine condition — a good niblick, a jigger, an early serpent-marked head — reach several hundred pounds or dollars. Complete sets are recorded here at price per club, divided from the realised set price, because a set is only worth having complete.

The ledger above is the evidence, not opinion: every point is a completed sale with a published source, checked before publication, so the medians move only when real sales happen. Condition matters as much as rarity — a pitted, re-gripped club is a different object from a clean one — and the filters let you see that split.

If you are working out what your own club is, start with the identification guide, confirm the mark against the cleek-mark archive, then compare it against the filtered results above. If you find a documented sale the ledger is missing, please submit it — every verified result makes the picture more honest.

Method. The ledger accepts documented completed sales only. A curator checks the source page, Tom Stewart attribution, price, date, condition and buyer's premium before publication. Published auction-house and marketplace sold results count equally once approved. Condition uses a four-step scale — fine, good, fair, poor / parts — while shaft history is recorded separately. Currencies remain separate and no asking price is treated as evidence of value. Complete sets count at price per club — the realised set price divided by the number of clubs — and are marked with an asterisk.
